the cavetto repoussé with St George slaying the dragon, reserved on an enamelled ground, the raised foliate borders set with gemstones, above and below the silver mounts decorated with applied boyars and scrolling foliage set with gems, below centre inscribed in English (and Russian above): To the Representatives of the English nation from the Moscow Municipality and dated 18 January 1912, on a wood ground, struck to cavetto, and to each mount with maker's mark beneath Imperial warrant, 84 and 95 standard
