This ring was frequently worn by Prince August of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha-Kohary (1818-1881), it was inherited by his youngest son Ferdinand I, Tsar of Bulgaria (1861-1848) and subsequently passed down to his daughter Princess Eudoxia of Bulgaria.
