Of Neoclassical design, the engine turned gold frame featuring oval medallions set with rose-cut diamonds, with a laurel garland border decorated with green enamel and accented by rose-cut diamonds, the reverse composed of tortoiseshell with a silver gilt stand, dimensions 6¼ x 5¼ inches, signed Cartier Paris Londres New-York, with French assay and workshop marks; 1920.

Accompanied by an original letter from Cartier dated September 30, 1920 providing a description and estimate for the frame.
