The rectangular case decorated with a geometric pattern of light and dark blue enamel to nephrite terminals, the thumb piece embellished with rose diamonds, signed Cartier, numbered, maker's marks for Gustave Renault, French assay mark for gold.
The workshop of Gustave Renault was bought by Cartier in 1930.
