8vo (162 x 106 mm). Black wrappers, upper cover with photographic portrait of Elvis and his mother laid down, and with "In Loving Memory | Mother" lettered in gilt, signed by Elvis on the verso. Housed in a leather back case with zipper closure and metal cross pendant, "Elvis Presley" debossed in gold on the upper cover, presentation inscription to Elvis on the inside cover; upper hinge of leather case cracked but holding.

An Elvis-owned Bible, signed by The King himself. A fan presented this Bible to Elvis, having added the gilt-lettering and portrait to the cover, and inscribed it to him, "This book will keep you from sin and only sin will keep you from this book. With love, Joy Woodson." The bible then found its way to Graceland, where on 30 November 1982 it was given to the most recent owner by Delta Biggs Presley.
