Arabic manuscript on gold-speckled paper, 404 leaves, plus 4 fly-leaves, 13 lines to the page written in neat naskh in black ink, ruled in gold and black, verses separated by various gold and polychrome illuminated rosettes, surah headings in white thuluth written horizontally and diagonally on gold and polychrome illuminated panels, further text divisions marked by gold and polychrome marginal devices, opening bifolio illuminated in gold and polychrome, in gilt red and green leather binding, gilt red leather doublures, gilt red leather slip case
