The Archivio Storico of Ornellaia, built in the beating heart of the winery, tells the story of this Estate through the different vintages of Ornellaia and shows the ability of our wines to evolve over time and reach, after many years, their perfect state of maturation.

The twelve bottles of Ornellaia 2019 will be kept undisturbed in perfect conditions of preservation.

Up until 2029, the owner will have the chance to taste and check the long and slow ageing process of the wine in a private tasting that will take place every two years in the heart of the cellar with the Estate Director Axel Heinz. The owner will thus be able to decide when to have the wines shipped to her or his private cellar.
