Condition:

This work is in overall good condition. The canvas is not lined. There is craquelure in places throughout, with some associated uplifting areas most notably on the upper right corner towards the right edge and on the center of the lower edge. There are tiny specs of paint loss in places. There is a tiny hole in the lower right corner. All surface irregularities are in keeping with the artist’s working process and choice of medium. Examination under ultraviolet light reveals areas of retouching in places, most notably on the right far edge, the left far edge, center of the upper right quadrant and center of the lower left quadrant. This work has not been examined outside of its frame. Work is in the artist’s frame.
