An Extraordinary 'Imperial Green' Jadeite, Diamond and Gem-Set Pendant

Set with a carved jadeite pepper of highly translucent intense emerald green colour, suspended from a brilliant-cut diamond surmount, the surrounding side accented by brilliant-cut diamonds, the reverse decorated with brilliant-cut diamonds, pear- and marquise-shaped sapphires and a square ruby, to a black cord, mounted in 18 karat white gold.

Jadeite approximately 57.00 x 22.00 x 11.15mm.

Accompanied by Hong Kong Jade & Stone Laboratory certificate no. SJ 207226, dated 10 December 2021, stating that the jadeite is natural, known in the trade as "A Jade". Also accompanied by Gübelin report and appendix no. 22021210, dated 17 March 2022, stating that the jadeite is natural, with no indications of treatment and may also be called "Type A" in the trade.  Gübelin Appendix further stating '... the most sought after colour is a deep, emerald green colour referred to as "imperial green".... The natural jadeite jade described in the above...possesses a richly saturated and evenly green colouration, referred to as "imperial green", combined with the high translucency as well as their very fine texture...makes this green jadeite jade a piece of outstanding beauty and importance'.
