An Israeli Parcel-Gilt Etrog Box, Carmel Shabi, Jerusalem, Circa 1985
in the form of a double cup, the lower applied by screws with a gilt openwork large inscription, gilt interior, marked on base with monogram maker’s mark, Menorah, 925 and Hebrew Jerusalem
Height 7 ½ in.

The base has the last few words of the blessing recited over the four species (of which the strong is one): “on the taking of the palm frond.” The date on the bottom is 1985.
