Overall in very good condition. The bronze surfaces are in excellent condition overall with very minor irregularities and imperfections inherent to production and to the artist’s practice. The paper shades appear to have been replaced at some point in the history of the lamps and are in very good condition overall. This lot is offered together with a certificate of authenticity from the Comité Giacometti for each lamp, which are recorded in the Alberto Giacometti Database under numbers 4372 and 4373. The lamps were each additionally impressed AG 058 and AG 059 respectively by the Comité at the time of their authentication. Sotheby's does not guarantee electrical components and recommends having all wiring inspected by a licensed electrician.
