A small fruitwood table clock for the Chinese market, Thomas Weeks, London, circa 1790


3¾-inch foliate engraved dial plate, enamel dial with centre seconds and signed Weeks Museum, Coventry, St, subsidiary enamel strike/silent and date dials, the fusee movement with anchor escapement mounted on the foliate engraved backplate, rear winding, striking and trip repeating on a bell, the formerly ebonised case with triple pad top, brass carrying handle, brass mouldings and bracket feet,
