Launched in 2012, The Black Bay collection has become Tudor's best-selling and most sought after range thanks to its combination of vintage aesthetics and modernity. Drawing inspiration from its Tudor Oyster Prince Submariner ref. 7922, which first launched in 1954, the present reference will attract those interested in vintage design with a preference for more contemporary pieces.
The Royalty and specialist protection unit are an elite wing of the British police charged with guarding members of parliament and the Royal family. In 2022 Tudor collaborated with the unit to commemorate Queen Elizabeth II's Platinum Jubilee, each watch features the RaSP logo of an English rose with a crown resting above at six o’clock and bears an engraving on the case back.
The watch offered comes from an actively serving member of the unit and will be the first time an example of this collaboration will be offered publicly for sale.
