A hunting cased two-train dual-time lever watch with seconds and jumping fifths

circa 1860


Movement: gilded three-quarter plate, the backplate with pearled finish, lever escapement, bi-metallic compensation balance, blue steel overcoil hairspring

Dial: silver with raised gilded floral garlands, two subsidiary dials for each time zone, centre seconds with outer track, engine-turned subsidiary dial for jumping fifths

Case: engine-turned covers, milled band with stop slide, the cuvette with four apertures for winding and hand setting, signed and numbered Hri Grandjean & Co., Locle & London, 3501, case back further numbered 3501
