Movement: damascened nickel, lever escapement, jewelled to the centre, bi-metallic compensation balance, blued steel overcoil hairspring, wolf's tooth winding, signed F. Rötig

• Dial: white enamel, Roman numerals, outer minute ring, three subsidiary dials for date, month and seconds, recessed aperture for compass and mercury Fahrenheit thermometer, gold hands, signed F. Rötig

Case: 18ct gold, engine-turned back centred by elaborate gold and enamel armorial, central anchor shield against a burgundy guilloché enamel background, white enamel banner beneath inscribed in red 'Ameeroodeen Tyabjee', green enamel leaves hanging from the banner, a yellow enamel bow, white enamel crescent moon & star above, the whole flanked by two lions rampant, milled bezels, repeating slide to band, polished gold cuvette engraved F.
