款識：養鶴階除長得伴，種魚池院不輸租。六十年十月，蜀人張大千爰。
鈐印：「張爰之印」、「大千居士」、「辛亥」、「一隻眼」。

註：一九七〇年，張大千目疾甚劇，一眼幾近失明，尋醫問診之餘，仍勤力創作，遂倩曾紹杰刻「一隻眼」、「獨具隻眼」印自喻。本幅即鈐「一隻眼」，筆力老辣，惟上下聯位置、字體佈局稍欠均衡，當屬目疾所致。
另，一九七九年紐約拍賣圖錄中將兩副對聯上下聯錯置。
