A three-piece gilt-bronze mounted Paris porcelain garniture, mid-19th century


formed as three circular baskets, pierced with a trellis pattern, painted with vignettes of exotic birds, the ground with green, pink and blue sections, the lower part moulded with a band of acanthus above a beaded collar and gadrooned spreading foot, above a plain band of berried wreaths, supported by a canted square foot below further wreaths, the interior with a rosette

the central basket: 27.5cm. high, 27.8cm. wide, the flanking baskets: 24.9cm. high, 25.2cm. wide
