the rectangular top within a gilt-bronze everted border above a frieze drawer and recessed kneehole with a concave flap opening to reveal a further storage cupboard, flanked on either sides by three drawers, raised on ebony cabriole legs terminating in gilt-bronze sabots, the whole decorated with scrolls, arabesques and stylised foliage in the manner of Jean Berain, within strapwork reserves; alterations
