With its well-balanced generous proportions and dynamic painted decoration, this stembowl boasts the masterly draughtsmanship of the Neolithic potters in creating artistic large vessels.

The execution of the interior of the stembowl is particularly outstanding, with bold black paint set against a tan-orange body, further accentuated with details cold-painted in chalky white. The swirling leaf-shaped motif to the interior created an almost hypnotic, pinwheel-like design. These radial lines to the interior contrasts with the somewhat more linear composition on the exterior, with crisscross bands symbolising the fishing net and circles enclosing confronted triangles representing fish.

本彩陶高足大盌比例匀稱大氣，紋飾富有動感，彰顯新時期時代陶匠製作大型陶器之精湛造詣。

此盌内壁黑彩筆法豪邁，與地色對比分明，並以白彩描繪細節作爲襯托。内壁葉呈紋迴旋狀，營造效果猶如風車徐徐轉動。外壁飾漁網紋飾，並以圓形圍繞三角魚紋，裏外對比，相映成趣。
