Carved hardwood with natural earth pigments

21½ in by 6 ½ in (55 by 16.5 cm)

The shield is in good condition overall, with no apparent repairs or restoration. The remnants of pigment appear to be original and stable. The surfaces back and front are replete with battle scarring and scratches and scuffs, as evidence of much use. Has a stand.
