A blue and white 'rabbit' bottle vase
transitional period, circa 1640
of globular form surmounted by a tall curved neck, supported on a short foot, finely painted in underglaze-blue with a rabbit and a pheasant in flight, amidst rocks and floral foliages, with further decorative prunus blossoms and bamboo foliages
Height 36 cm, 13¾ in.
The bottle vase has some frits to the rim and light glaze scratches.
