38 albumen prints (34: approximately 215 x 275mm., or the reverse, 4: 130 x 95mm.), mounted recto only on 36 card mounts (328 x 460mm.), captioned by hand in German in ink on the reverse, housed in a contemporary fitted buckram box with red label on the spine titled 'Siam', some fading, spotting and stains to mounts and occasionally to images, box stained and slightly worn

A good collection of nineteenth-century views of Siam (modern day Thailand) in and around Bangkok together with a few portraits including the king, members of the royal family, and monks.
