unframed each: 35.5 x 27 cm.; 14 x 10⅝ in.

framed each: 53.7 x 46.6 cm.; 21⅛ x 18⅜ in.

The panels are uncradled, flat and stable. The paint surfaces are clean and the varnishes are clear and even. The surfaces of both paintings have a slightly grainy texture. Inspection under ultraviolet light reveals minor, pinprick retouchings scattered throughout both pictures, and what look like added dates which have been painted out. The pair is in overall good condition and the paintings present very well in their current state.
