Designed as a parrot holding a carved emerald, set with brilliant-cut diamonds and calibré-cut coloured gemstones, highlighted with emerald eyes and onyx beak, mounted in 18 karat yellow gold, signed Cartier, numbered, French assay and maker's marks, pouch stamped Cartier.

Signed Cartier, numbered 615778, stamped with French assay marks for 18 karat yellow gold, stamped with French maker's mark. Carved emerald weighing approximately 12.00cts are medium yellowish green colour, medium saturation, there are typical inclusions, some reaching the surface but hardly noticeable when worn. Diamonds weighing approximately 6.00cts in total are on average F - G Colour, mostly VS Clarity. Rubies weighing approximately 1.90cts in total are medium dark purplish red colour, medium strong saturation. Sapphires weighing approximately 1.90cts in total are medium dark blue colour, medium saturation. Yellow sapphires weighing approximately 2.40cts in total are medium dark yellow colour, medium strong saturation. Emeralds weighing approximately 2.30cts in total are medium dark bluish green colour, medium strong saturation. All coloured gemstones with typical inclusions and blemishes, as gauged and graded in the mount. Onyx beak in very good condition. Minor signs of wear on metal in consistent with use, overall in very good condition.
