Designed as a pair of parrots perched on a rock crystal rod, pavé-set with brilliant-cut diamonds and diamonds of yellow tint, highlighted with calibré-cut ruby and emerald plumage, to the circular-cut emerald eyes and mother-of-pearl beaks, mounted in 18 karat yellow gold, signed Cartier, numbered, French assay and maker's marks, case stamped Cartier.

Signed Cartier, numbered 658644, stamped 750 and with French assay marks for 18 karat yellow gold, with French maker's mark. Emeralds and rubies stated to weigh approximately 5.94 and 3.60 carats respectively, are well matched, emeralds of medium green colour and rubies of medium purplish red colour, all of medium saturation, mainly eye-clean, some with minor typical inclusions. Rock crystal and mother-of-pearl are in very good condition, rock crystal is removable. Diamonds stated to weigh approximately 7.55 carats, are on average about E-F colour and VVS-VS clarity, coloured diamonds stated to weigh approximately 0.87 carat are mainly vivid yellow colour, VS-SI clarity, all as graded in the mounting. Signs of minor wear to the metal. Overall in very good condition. With case stamped Cartier.
