A garniture of three Royal Worcester majolica vases
in the Chinese archaic taste, moulded in low relief with bats, insects and mythical beasts on a leiwen pattern ground, enriched in blue and turquoise glaze, comprising a pair of bottle vases with elephant's head handlesa and a low baluster vase, impressed crowned marls, incised shape numbers 320 and 333k
14 in. high, 35.5 cm.
8¾ in. high, 22.4 cm.
Bottle vase: overall of good appearance. Minor restoration to two ribbed parts of the lower section, and similar retouching to the bosses below the rim.
Squat vase: small area of retouching to one rib, but overall in good order.
Other bottle vase: some restoration and retouching to one of the elephant handles on the beast’s forehead. Otherwise in good order
