Good overall condition consistent with age and use. The glass presents with dirt and surface scratches throughout. There are small dents, mainly located along the edges and losses at the corners. The largest, located at the upper right corner is approximately 1,8 x 1,5 cm. There is a cross drawn in felt pen on the top left edge. Tiny dents on the decor, but not visually distracting. The silver on the back is partially removed. The chrome plated metal base was added at a later stage. It presents with scattered hairline scratches.

This poppy panel is an architectural element created by René Lalique for the Coty store in New York in 1912. The presence of the silver on the back of the panel made it possible to reflect the light of the sun and thus to animate the frontage of the store. Subsequently dismantled, this panel was then mounted in lamp.
