L'entrée du port de Saint-Tropez

signé Manguin (en bas à gauche)

huile sur toile

54,2 x 73,1 cm; 21⅜ x 28¾ in.

Peint en été-automne 1927.

This work has been examined framed. The canvas is not lined. Examination under UV light reveals a few tiny dots of cosmetic retouching in between the boats and in the sky next to the top of the right hand boat’s mast. Impasto is nice and well preserved. This work is in overall very good condition.
