Cette œuvre sera incluse dans le Catalogue Raisonné digital de Albert Marquet, actuellement en préparation sous l’égide du Wildenstein Plattner Institute, Inc.

The work has been examined framed. The canvas is not lined and slightly loose. There are a few pinholes at all four corners and along the extreme edges. Examination under UV light reveals no evidence of retouching. There is frame rubbing associated with minor pigment losses along the extreme edges. There are two small dots of paint losses to the upper right quadrant (one located 15cm from right edge and 14cm from upper edge, another located 9cm from upper edge and 22cm from right edge). There are a few hairline lines of craquelure in areas notably to the left side of the see and to the sky. There are two superfical surface scratches towards the centre of the sky. Surface is a bit dirty. Colours are fresh. This work is in overall very good condition and could benefit froma light clean.
