Edd Ravn is an artist and shepherd, who received his BFA from The Glasgow School of Art in 2015 and his MFA in Painting and Printmaking from Yale School of Art in 2020. He has been an artist in residence at Porthmeor Studio in St Ives, Cornwall, as well as having performed his poetry at the Barbican Centre, London. He currently lives and works between New Haven, Connecticut, and his family’s sheep farm in North Yorkshire, UK.

He works site-responsively between painting, sculpture, furniture design and sound to investigate forms of social experience, perception and material vulnerabilities. As well as a studio practice, Ravn works collaboratively within S.A.K.E. – a four-person artist collective with Sara Emsaki, Aryana Minai, Krystal DiFronzo — focusing its efforts on social engagement through a political lens.
