3¼-inch dial with foliate engraved surround, single hour hand, central alarm disc, the going train with chain fusee and verge escapement with plain brass three-arm balance, the alarm train with engraved standing barrel, foliate pierced striking gate, silvered and numbered count wheel mounted on the backplate, striking on a bell, the alarm train acting on the same bell, the backplate mounted with silvered, pierced and engraved cocks and signed Conrad Geiger, Lindall?, the hexagonal case with glazed side panels and turned feet
