The work appears sound. The head of the sculpture detaches from the body. There is a fine vertical crack to the wood towards the right of the front with a couple of further very fine cracks to the back fo the sculpture, and a possible fine crack or nick towards the protruding limb. There are a few minor nicks and scuffs towards extreme edges. There is possible evidence of historic water marks to the front of the vertical element and to the horizontal element. There are some possible infils to the aforementioned cracks in one or two places. There is some light surface dirt and a few instances of minor surface matter. This excepting, the work appears to be in very good condition.
The work is attached to the Artist's painted wooden base.
