It has not been possible to examine the work entirely unframed. The canvas is not lined and slightly loose. Examination under UV light reveals no evidence of retouching. There are scratches associated with paint losses and additional scattered dots of paint losses, most predominately to the lower part of the composition, notably to the extreme left boat and to the lower right corner. There are stretcher bar marks and a few dots of dirt ingrained. This work is in overall good condition and could benefit from a clean.
