Executed on thin Japan paper, laid down to the mount. Edges are deckled with associated mount staining, tiny tears, nicks and small paper losses (not visible when framed). There is a horizontally crease (approx. 10 cm long) towards the centre of the right edge and additional smaller creases most predominately along the extreme edges, consistent with the laying down process. There is an horizontal superficial scratch towards the centre of the right edge (as visible in the catalogue illustration). There are scattered dots of foxing, most predominately away from the centre of the composition, and some studio marks in the upper right corner. This work is in overall good condition.
