Case: stainless steel, screw down case back
Case number: 3'583'882, inside case back repeated with case number
Closure: stainless steel Rolex Oyster bracelet and patent pending folding clasp
Size: 40 mm diameter, bracelet circumference approximately 175 mm
Signed: case, dial and movement
The present Rolex Sea-Dweller is fitted with a MK3 dial as the 'D' in 'Sea-Dweller' lines up with the 'R' in 'Submariner'. Furthermore, the dial has been retained in excellent condition where all lumes have aged to a very warm yellow and the hands are consistently aged as well. The case with light wear and the insert has faded nicely. The numbers between the lugs and inside the case back are all very crisp, all adding to the desirability of this vintage sports Rolex.
