In production for 28 years and only made in stainless steel, not only did the reference 5513 experience many improvements from physical alterations to the case and text on the dial, but also a more durable movement.
The present watch offering is the last 5513 Submariner ever made with a matte dial. Nicknamed “At The Top” for the Submariner text sitting above the depth rating text, the present watch has been kept in a good honest condition with matching 93150 bracelet and a very attractive faded bezel insert. The 5513 has always acted as a bridge for collectors embarking on their journey into the world of vintage Rolexes, and this watch is a great watch to begin anyone’s collection.
