In the Snow

signed with initials and dated 1910 lower right

gouache, watercolour and pencil on paper laid on canvas

Unframed: 65 by 100cm., 25½ by 39½in.

Framed: 73 by 108cm., 28¾ by 42½in.

This work is in good condition, the media fresh and vibrant, and it is ready to hang.

The work is executed on paper laid on fine canvas, which is ensuring a stable support. There are signs of toning to the left and upper framing edges (partly related to the frame), and there are some small pinholes and a tiny loss to the sheet at the extreme right of the upper edge (this may be inherent). There are some minor spots of surface dirt, visible on closer inspection.
