The lacquer has some expected cracks, losses and lifting (commensurate with material and age especially to the lower part) with general matte overspray, and areas of retouching. There are some losses to the mother-of-pearl inlaid. There is wear to the gilding. The hinges of the cover have been replaced to the back with associated lacquer losses around.
