PAYSAGE

signé S. Mendjisky (en bas à droite)

huile sur isorel

44,7 x 60,1 cm; 17⅝ x 23⅝ in.

Peint en 1969.

Patricia Mendjisky a confirmé l'authenticité de cette œuvre.

It has not been possible to see the work entirely unframed. The board is stable. There is no evidence of retouching visible under UV light. There are a few tiny dents to the panel, notably visible to the left part of the upper edge. There are a few minor drips of superficial dirt, which seems to be easily removable by professional restorer, notably visible to the lower part of the right edge, and a few scattered studio marks, most predominately towards the upper edge. There are a few scattered fly spots and dots of superficial dirt ingrained to the medium, and some minor vertical scratches, notably to the right-hand boat. Impasto is well preserved. This work is in overall very good condition and could benefit from a light clean.
