Folio (312 x 202mm.), 54 double-page woodcut maps, each map with a letterpress description within woodcut border, contemporary calf gilt, central diamond centerpiece in gilt and blind with foliate design within fillet borders in gilt and blind, the covers stamped with contemporary owner’s name later erased, lacks title, British Isles map torn, last leaf defective, a few maps cut close, binding somewhat worn, loss at head of spine


The fourth and last of Sebastian Münster’s editions of the Geographia.
