Cask number 800160/2009, distilled on 11 February 2009, bulk 207.58 litres, 57.5 abv, 119.39 RLA, date of regauging 31.07.2019, originally filled into a refill Hogshead, reracked into First Fill Oloroso Cask on 17.07.2018, lying at Whiskybroker Ltd Creetown, at the time of gauging this cask yields circa 296 bottles

As a distillery that has the consistent ability to undergo a second maturation for long periods in Sherry oak, The Ultimate Whisky Collector had the foresight to follow the Dalmore's example and rerack this cask into First Fill Oloroso. While there are already a few years on the clock, this cask's journey is only just beginning.

Appearance: Light Amber

As warm dried fruits climb the glass it’s clear this whisky is youthful, but that already the sherry rerack is beginning to influence its character. Some greenery of oak leaves and holly bushes is matched with medjool dates and cinnamon donuts alongside some leather and boot polish.

In the mouth the high ABV of youth is present, showing that this whisky has a long life ahead of it. This settles to reveal the dried fruit and leather of its sherry cask with cereal and oak melting away into the distance.
