The title-page text refers to the second Verona edition of 1483 (see lot 442), whose woodcut illustrations are copied in reverse for this edition. Some of the woodblocks are signed by Mercure Jollat.
This edition was produced by Wechel alongside an edition of Vegetius (see lot 411).
