The support has warped slightly. There are a few nicks to the edges and corners as well as abrasions and indentations in the paint layer along the edges. There is a light layer of surface dirt. Inspection under UV light reveals retouching to three of the four corners, to the middle of the bottom and left edges, to the trunk of the large tree and to the towel held by the figure on the steps. Held in a gold-painted frame with plaster mouldings.
