TWO GOLD OR GILT-METAL MOUNTED TORTOISESHELL SNUFF BOXES, FRENCH, 19TH CENTURY
Both rectangular, the first inset with a gouache miniature of a landscape with figures and animals on a track, French School, late 18th century with gold mounts; the second set with a gouache miniature of a landscape with two riders pausing by a blasted tree, French School, late 18th century, in gilt-metal mounts, both apparently unmarked
