Condition Report

Property from Various Owners is available to view at the Sotheby’s Greenford Park warehouse, 13 and 16 – 18 September (10 - 4pm), by appointment.

The board is flat and the paint surface is stable with a slightly discoloured varnish. There are no major damages visible to the naked eye. Inspection under ultra violet light reveals some retouchings scattered throughout - most notably in the background behind the figure at the far right, and in the curved edge of the fireplace. In otherwise fair condition and offered in a gilt wood frame with a carved sight edge, with some chips and losses.

The lot is sold in the condition it is in at the time of sale. The condition report is provided to assist you with assessing the condition of the lot and is for guidance only.
