PLAQUE WITH CHRIST BLESSING
gilt and champlevé enamelled copper, on a metal stand

There is a small loss to the copper plaque at the bottom left corner. There are losses to the enamel in areas, including: to areas of the rim of the red enamel framing the plaque; to the blue enamel around Christ's proper left arm and the globe in his hand; to the white enamel at the bottom and to the white enamel at the top of Christ's aureole. There are minor scratches to the copper throughout. There is some greening to the copper, in particular to the back and to the bottom and top edges at the front, some of the greening is also visible to the red and white enamel at the bottom, and to the proper right corner. There are four holes to the plaque where the plaque would originally have been mounted. Otherwise the condition is stable.
The later metal stand is in good condition overall, with some minor warping to the top of the stand.
