one of rectangular form, finely carved to each face with buildings and fortifications, the base with two-character inscription; the second in the shape of a pomegranate, carved in high relief to the base of the box with a leafy gnarled stem
The larger 5.5 cm, 2⅜ in.
The rectangular box is in good condition; the pomegranate box and cover has minor nicks to the edges of the rims, feet and to the tip of one petal on the cover.
