of arched rectangular form, the convex surface skilfully carved with an excerpt from Cai Jing's zhao ji xue jiang gui zhao tu juan, ending with a signature reading Qiange, the wood of a warm russet-brown patina
Length 28.9 cm, 11½ in.
There are some scratches and tiny nicks throughout, including a few nicks to the corners.
