the bulbous body rising from a rounded tip to a short neck with a wooden rim, moulded to the body with a dense basketry pattern, the tortoiseshell cover carved with two five-clawed dragons amidst lingzhi scrolls
Length 13.8 cm, 5⅜ in.
There are some flakes to the interior, light overall wear, including to the rim of the cage and the cover. The wood rim of the cover was possibly lacquered/varnished due to the different colour compared to the rim of the cage.
