This week's Shortlist features five women's watches you can bid on now in Hong Kong's Important Watches sale.

W atches themselves don't have a gender—anyone can wear any watch. But, watch maisons do make timepieces that may appeal to those with small wrists or feminine style sensibilities. Sometimes, that means simply shrinking a bezel down, and sometimes it involves practically hiding a watch in a beautiful piece of jewelry.

On 18-19 September, Sotheby's in Hong Kong will host their Important Watches auctions which feature quite a few beautifully wrought wristwatches designed with women in mind. Though there are several incredible pieces to choose from (and you should peruse them all), we've chosen 5 of our favorites for this week's Shortlist—make sure you save them now.
